Birth for John Coyne

Hi I'm desprately trying to trace my grandfathers family tree as requested many times by my mum. Unfortunatley not alot is known about him. I know he was born on the 15th Of June 1910 IN COUNTY Galway Ireland. His name was John Coyne.
His father is believed to have been Micheal coyne born in Tippary Ireland i have found a death registered for him in the last quarter of 1961 for Bristol he was age 78 when he died making his birth around 1803.

I would assist me a great deal if i could find out any further information about Micheal and my Grandfather through birth certificate's or census records. I'm aware that a fire many years back destoyed alot of records in Ireland so how would i go about finding out where to get the information from.

Civil registrations of births, deaths and Catholic marriages in Ireland started in 1864 and they have not been destroyed.
If Michael Coyne was born 1883 (which I think is the correct year if he died in 1961 aged 78 years) then there should be a birth certificate for him as well as his son John. However, to order the birth certificates you my need more details as these are very common names in Ireland and there could be several with the same names born the same period.

as aghadowey said this name is common  I have had a quick look and there is two Micheal Coyne and wife Mary having children around that time unless this family were having a lot of children die ,there are multiple John Coynes & Marys all born Roundstone Galway

Micheal Coyne married 16/1/1876  at Killian Galway R.C. to
Mary Clark
Husbands father Micheal Coyne
Husbands mother  Ellen Clark[yes it does say Clark]

wife father Joannis  Clark
wife mother Anna connely

But still no way of knowing yet whether Michael and Mary are the right family.

yes I agree but the births I have seen for what I presume is another John & Mary were a good 20years be for this John Was born  so I think 1876 Marriage is a good bet and Clare now has at least an area In Galway and the parents Christian names can be checked with the info she has for any descendants

But according to the orginal post Michael Coyne was born c1883 in Co. Tipperary. His son John was supposed to be born in Co. Galway.

Hi thank you everyone who has offered help and advice. However i believe Micheal Coyne married a lady called Florence i am sure i have found the right death registered for her in 1930 Florence Coyne age 53 registered district Wells.
Unfortunately i do not know of her maiden name a possiblity could be Bending if anyone could have a look for a marriage record for those names that would be great or even a birth certificate for Florence even better.
