Hi Gill, I've just got back onto my computer this morning. Thanks for your replies and for looking up the details (census and parish) and sending them on. It is really helpful to see all the possibilities/probabilities.
The 1851
must be them as the other family members match, but it also makes me think more that Bessy/Mary/Elizabeth was one person. I don't think that there were any other William Crisps in the area at that time, so it definitely seems to point in the right direction.
