Help reading where in Fermanagh please

Hello,

Following on from my posting last week, I now have
purchased the image of the sons birth certificate which
stated the parents were married in Fermanagh.

However it is not very clear, and I am hoping that
someone who knows Fermanagh may be able to enlighten
me. I think I have made out ;

Line 1 - 1876 March 23rd- correction shld be May
Line 2 - haven't a clue what the first two words are  third word I think is Fermanagh
Line 3 - Ireland

Would appreciate any clues or assistance please

Could it be Enniskillen - if the top of the second 'l' has become a bit detached?  Enniskillen is the county town of Co.Fermanagh.  I read the date as May 23rd with something protruding down from the line above.

Sorry typo error you are quite correct the
date is 23rd May, I will correct my original
posting.

It is so hard to read, do you think it would
help if I posted the whole image? Wasnt sure
if you could.

Enniskillen looks good to me. The 's' is similar to that is 'Morrison' and, if you look five lines higher, the 'l' seems to become detached quite regularly.

Agree with Enniskillen. You should be able to order their marriage certificate (GRO, Dublin) but have found that Scottish certificates are slightly off regarding marriage date (sometimes a year or more even).

Many thanks for your assistance.  Given that their
first son was born in Glasgow in 1877, fingers crossed
this 1876 marriage in Ireland is correct  

Hopefully their marriage certificate will give me
their parents etc.  Not sure are Irish certificates
as good as Scottish when it comes to family details?

Irish marriage certificate will not be same as Scottish one. Information on it will be: names of bride and groom, their residences at time of marriage, marital status whether of full age, and occupations. Also names and occupations of fathers, names of two witnesses, date and place of marriage and name of officiant.
It will not show mothers' names, birthdate or birthplaces, or address of parents.
