Hi,

I'm trying to trace the Ballantine family after 1881. William BALLANTINE, born 10/3/1850 married Jane MCKENZIE in Caputh 2 Dec 1873. They had three daughters -  Agnes born 12/7/1875, Helen born 6/3/1876 and Ann born 5/11/1879. In 1881 the family are living in Liff, Angus at 160 Liff Road with Jane's brother John and sister Agnes.

After 1881 all seven of them disappear - I'm assuming they emigrated but I'm not sure where to. If anyone has any information I'd be very grateful!

For census tracing purposes - these are the families respective birthplaces per 1881 census

William & Jane were both b Caputh Perthshire

Agnes Ann Fraser Ballantine b Alyth Perthshire

Helen Elizabeth and Ann Jane were both b Dundee Forfar
