On a relatives death cert the cause of death is given as Apoplexy 2 days?

Can anyone say what this is please? ???

It's the old name for a cerebral vascular event-Stroke in other words.

Thanks folks. It seems she had a stroke then that rendered her unconscious for 2 days.
