well i guess thats your privilege.

but one should remember that in life not everyone is knowledgable, nor as brainy or quick with it as others, nor as sofisticated. nor are all of us with as good a memories as others. nor do all of us have the money to throw at these things.
to some they are a hobby but to others who have no relatives left in this world., like my mother, these things are a life line. i am trying to prove to her that their are other family members out there. she just hasnt met them yet. i am appealing to an elderly lady who has no one but her 3 children that she has a reason to go on with life.
in the last 10 years she has lost her parents, only sibling and her husband who was an only child. what more can i say. if i appear a little ignorant , or quick to pass judgement so be it. i guess social skills arent my fortay either. nor is patience.
but those who know me better no me to be an intelligent person and very committed to my cause.

sometimes sarcastic comments or referrences to the slow witted brains of others are better left unsaid.

i say no more in this
let you go on your way good freind.
peace be with you.

More scurrilous insinuations! You must have been reading a different message to the one I posted. There was NOTHING sarcastic in it. There was NO reference to intelligence.

My only statement was that you had accused me of being unhelpful (for which you were well and truly castigated on the Bucks board), presumably because I was unable to give you a specific answer to your request.  As you say, sometimes perhaps you are "quick to pass judgement". If you recognise that as a social failing perhaps you should sit back and reflect on what you have written before you hit the "Send" button.

I suggest that this thread should now be locked

Have a nice day

David

please yourself ive tried apologising, pleading to you for forgiveness but if you choose to not forgive thats your perrrogotive, these boards are not for throwing insults at each other and i appeal to the moderator to end this feud between us and ask forgiveness. ive tried to explain but it seems you persist in this nonsense.
i did not set out on this happy research to make enemies.
but it seems i have found one in you.

for that i am truly sorry,
by the way i dont use these boards willy nilly i do look for my self and only resort to these when i get stuck. its hard when none of your family are left alive and the ones that are no nothing of the ones that have been.

I posted in reply to your request
"I think the only sure way of tracing him, which might be expensive, is to buy likely marriage certificates until you find one where the father is Jesse.

Hampstead is really part of London too - it's only 3 miles from the West End

I take it you have the family in 1901 living in Berkhamstead, Herts"

On the Bucks board you said
"the reason i had to post this request twice was because the first one was ignored by everyone except for unhelpful comments."

I was on holiday at the time so didn't see it until my return.

My only posts on the subject have been on this thread.

I saw your apology.

I have thrown no insults

There is no feud

I am not your enemy
