The only one I can find proof of in Canada is George Frederick .
His WW1 papers are online and he states his next of kin as Mrs E T Turner of Nova Scotia.

However I can't see any of the rest of the family in the 1911 census.

Nor can I see any of them leaving the UK on the ships lists.  ::)

Presume you have records of more of them out there?

I've been looking for them in 1891 too,but seeing that some of the kids were born in India,that's where they must have been then  ::)

Have you seen Jesse's discharge papers  and Army Record?- discharged from army on 5th June 1908

refers to father Charles, wife Edith and eldest of children, brother Arthur

yes his descendent ahs supplied me with photos, and even his sergeants award when he was made up of Sergeant major Jesse Turner of the Bedfordshire regiment. i even have his discharge record in which he states he intended to emigrate to Canada. and ive been in touch with his brother Charles' descendent who also wetn to Canada. no one knows what happened to Arthur.

What a shame the kids names and Dob's are so smudged.
Will look at the Ottawa records now-as it would seem as though that was his intended place of emigration.

Although I fear it may not give us any new clues as to where Arthur went.

Maybe he just stayed in the UK???
