That sounds hopeful - I've been through the marriage records 1918-9 and can't find him. Indeed, very few Creamers at all.

I've just found a Frederick E Creamer m. a Miss Hubbard Q1 1921 Huntingdon 3b 559. I know it's the wrong middle name, but it might have been mistranscribed.

Cat   That info very interesting. I'm only doing this "third party", but I recall being shown an old photo of man astride "old" motor bike in army uniform, have you any idea of date of service for Frank.
 Must again say many thanks.

No Frederick H's 1918-23.

So I'm going back again: there's a Frederick E AND a Frederick W marrying Miss Snook in Q4 1919 Willesdon 3a 606. I suspect it's one and the same and the middle name is mistranscribed. Maybe it's an H???

No probs. I know what it's like, ploughing through these records. It's nice to know that someone else came up with nothing either - there is always a terrible temptation to go through half a dozen times...  :-\

This is the information I can read on the medal card -

Frank H Creamer R.A.M.C Private 60440

Medal    Roll                     Page
Victory       RAMC/101B.77    5802
British        As?                      As?
15 Star       RAMC/18A          1468

Theatre of war first served in - 31Egypt
Date of entry therein - 12/8/15

re: the marriages - isn't Frank usually short for Francis, not Frederick?  :-\ but as he was registered as Frank, maybe its not short for anything in this case, just Frank.....

Couldn't find a pension record for him, so either not available on ancestry or there isn't one because he didn't make it through the war? Unless you know he definitely did survive the war?

Regards
Cat  :)

Hello Cat Once again can only thank you for your time and effort.

The lady I am doing this for knows Frank survived the war,as several years ago she was left a small some of money, and on a copy of the will Frank Hurbert was one of the execetors.

Is your friend looking for earlier Creamers?  I have Elizabeth married to Nathaniel Maile in Little Paxton 1793.  Her granddaughter, born c1834, probably in Warboys, was named Jane Creamer Maile, daughter of Robert Maile and Sarah Farey.
