Carole W where did you find Winifred's baptism as I can't find it in Wooler parish records but I can find a daughter to George and Isabella in Jan 1805, 2nd daughter dying in March 1805 aged 3 weeks, and another Ann dying in1808 July, aged 10 months! Something just doesn't add up

Sorry, searched Family search web site got WiNNfred Hunter but dates of other offspring don't match up.

Here I go again!! Post a reply then partially answer it myself - a case of brain and fingers not communicating! Ann Hunter was daughter of George and Isabella (nee Emery) and age at death does not fit should be 3 years +. Now all I have to do is figure out Isabella but seems likely no connection again.

Try a parent search as follows:

www.familysearch.org - On home page - click on  “Advanced Search” to the right of the SEARCH button

Select “International Genealogical Index” from the left hand menu

Input fathers name and surname BUT only put mothers christian name as not all entries have the maiden name

REGION – select British Isles from the menu

COUNTRY – select one or “All countries”

COUNTY (will appear when you select COUNTRY)  – select whichever matches what you know about the family

Click SEARCH

Yes have done this but no Joy. The maiden name of Isabel/ Isabella varies with where it is looked up- Parish records say Wills and Family search say Emery for same record.
