1839...Parish of St John Southwark

Lawrence Bryant a labourer of full age married Ellen Donahue of full age on the 1st of September 1839..........they both resided at St John's at the time of marriage
the fathers of the couple are Timothy Bryant a labourer and Horance Donahue a labourer...........witnesses are John Newland and James Driscoll (who signed by a mark).
Researching names BRYANT (Camberwell), PASTERFIELD (Essex and all), RAY (Holborn/Islington areas back to Brentford), POWELL (Glouc & beyond?)
Fletcher (Glouc into Warwickshie into Lancs?), BUCKLEY (Chatham area), Watson (Chatham area).

Mary Bryant of full age married Thomas Barnett a labourer of full age on the 23rd August 1841.......they both resided at St John's at the time of marriage
Their fathers are Jeremiah Bryant a labourer and William Barnett a labourer
The witnesses at the marriage are a Jeremiah Bryant (his mark) and a Julia Bryant (her mark)

Mary Ann Bryant aged 20 married William Clark a lighterman of full age on August 23rd 1843....they both resided at St John's at the time of marriage
Thomas Bryant a labourer and William Clark a lighterman are the fathers...........the witnesses are a T Youngman and Elizabeth Youngman.

1857.............St Olave's Southwark
24th January.....Guy's Hospital

Timothy Bryant a labourer died aged 27 years old in Guys Hospital
He died of excessive drinking of Brandy at Kennington........24 hours....p morts...(post mortem?) .........William Payne the Coroner of Brunswick Square was the informant..........death was registered 25th Feb 1857.

October 9th 1856
Mary Bryant of full age married George Courtney of full age, he was a mariner. Both resided in the Parish of St Paul Deptford at time of marriage.

Timothy Bryant a gardener and James Courtney a laborer are the fathers and both appear to be alive.

The witnesses are Michael Bryant and Ann Laite
