SURNAME VARIATIONS KEEP YOU GUESSING WITH THIS FAMILY! as does Michael's (sen) birth place......Michael is possibly a brother of my gr grandfather? as seen as a witness to Mary Bryant marrying George Courtney 1856 at St Paul Deptford....Mary being the sister of my gr grandfather Matthew....both being children of Timothy Bryant the gardener.
In 1861 Michael as listed below is living at 10 Moore Terrace....my gr grandfather Matthew Bryant lived at number 8 in 1861

A Michael Bryant married a Catherine in the Mar qtr of 1952 at St George Southwark....but was it Catherine Bryan or Catherine Calnan........looked at both over the census's of 1861-1881 and none the wiser....both having been born in Ireland and no kin turning up to confirm one way or tuther!
Looks like another cert required! .........to find out who he married and is he the son of Timothy the gardener?
