I haven't been able to find a death entry for my Great Grandfather, Daniel Robertson. He was born in 1867, in Greenock, Renfrewshire. His parents were John and Elizabeth, formerly Smith. He married Sarah Williams, and they lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne for most of their married lives. Daniel was a ships' plumber. They had thirteen children, eleven of them survived infancy.
I know he was still alive in 1915, as their son was killed during the First World War, and his parents names and address was listed on the information I got from the Commonwealth War Graves site. At this time they were living at 91 Beaumont Street. By the time of my Grandmothers' wedding, (their daughter), in June 1925, he had died.
There is a Daniel Robertson on free BMD, a death for March qtr. 1913, but it gives his age as 58 years. Daniel would have been 46 at this time (I have his birth certificate) so this can't be the right one!
