Possible Marriages Dec 1894

AMOS  Rosina    Southampton  2c 4
Hoare  Ephraim Thomas G     Southampton  2c 4
North  Amelia     Southampton  2c 4
Webb  William     Southampton  2c 4

UPDATE - Extracted IGI (possible connection to father William?)
AMELIA NORTH - EPHRAIM THOMAS GEORGE HOARE
Marriage:  11 NOV 1894   Christ Church, Southampton

Think birth cert for Amelia Emily Hoare would give you confirmation.

It's always a good idea to go up and down the street, see who the neighbours are.   They could always be over the page as well.   I've found a lot of family living very close to each other at times.

I didn't suggest Amelia Emily Hoare born 1895 died in 1909 (aged 33) I suggested that Amelia North who married Ephraim Thomas G Hoare may have died in 1909 in which case her birth would be circa 1876 which is a couple of years out for the birth in Poole but still a strong possibility.

The children you have for William and Emily North nee Cottrill/Cottrell.

Births Sep 1873
NORTH  Emily Lydia     Southampton  2c 26

Births Mar 1877
North  Benjamin     Southampton  2c 38

Births Sep 1878
North  Amelia    Poole  5a 301

Hamworthy (Minnie's birthplace on the 1881 and 1891 censuses) as has already been pointed out registers in Poole registration district

Births Mar 1880
NORTH  Lilian     Southampton  2c 37

A possibility if there is a mistake in the name on the census but it seems a bit far to travel from Southampton though.

1901 census HO107 1993 folio 85
Eye Infirmary 5 King Street Melcombe Regis Dorset
Lily Hoare patient married 27 Hamworthy Dorset

 ;D

Write it all down in sequence of dates etc and you'll see what we have been getting at.... ;D

SNAP  Valda  ;D

I personally think that ......Amelia Emily Hoare bn 1895...is not the daughter of Emily but her sister Minne   (aka Amelia).......Amelia #1 would have been 17/18 so not too young....but I have been wrong before  :P

Another sibling

NORTH, Joseph Charles
Christening Date:   16 Mar 1876 Christ Church Southampton, Hampshire
Father:William NORTH
Mother:Emily

Births Mar 1876
NORTH  Joseph     Southampton  2c 14

Deaths Mar 1876
NORTH  Joseph  0  Southampton  2c 29

Emily Lydia North is rather ruled out as a candidate for the mother of Amelia Emily Hoare by her marriage to Thomas Henry Paddock in the same quarter as Amelia Emily Hoare's birth registration.

Marriages Sep 1895
North  Emily Lydia    Southampton  2c 8

Lilian would have been 15 in 1895 and was an unmarried servant in Southampton on the 1901 census, probably marrying in 1904 so why would she have a daughter in the surname Hoare in 1895? If she had had an illegitmate daughter her surname would have been North.

Which just leaves Minnie/Amelia of the known children - the birth registration in Poole being Amelia, the marriage being Amelia and the possible death registration also Amelia. People do however appear on censuses in their 'pet' names.
