Are the second couple in the same area? This is the only one that came up, could not find a Samuel around the birthyear.

Thank you Cas. I had the marriage in 1884 from the family bible. I have been looking for my Turnells in Northants because that was where Sarah was born but it seems I may have been misdirected! If this was Sarahs step father then I might have found a likely birth father one William Heel, a soldier, born in Hertfordshire, hence the recording of family names as Heel Turnell. Alternatively I shall have to search a marriage of Emma Heel to Turnell possibly in Wales. Oh the twists and turns that make this such an interesting hobby
