Hi,

I wondered if it would be possible to look up any information about two brothers killed in ww1
I am desperatly trying to find any photos of them or there reg for my family tree

There names were Lancelot Cecil Hasler born Islington 1877 killed in the somme 1917
and Herbert Hasler born Islington 1890 killed in the somme 1917

Can anyone help with any information please

Many many thanks

you should get some basic info about each of them off the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site... google for the link. It will give some details and that may take you further.

Hi Charlotte,

Yes i do have their millitary information, but wanted something from a local newspaper or even a photo
i have been to the church where one's name is on memorial in Prebend St Islington, but cannot find the other brothers memorial if there is one.

My family lived in Packington St, Copenhagen St, Paackington Sq, Peaboby buildings, all around there

Thank you for your help

Carol
