Mary Burton- Hinckley (birth/death) (COMPLETED)

Hello again

I am wondering if anyone can help me find the birth/christening or death records of Mary Burton (nee Morris).  She was born around 1790 and census records list her as from Hinckley or Leicester.  She married William Burton of Nuneaton on 26th July 1818 at St Mary's Hinckley and i believe that she probably died in Hinckley in 1875.  She may therefore be buried in St Marty's churchyard or Ashby Road.

If anyone can help me by looking up birth/christening or death records for Mary i would be most grateful.

Her death is on freebmd but with a query on her age.  I have checked the full GRO index and she was 85 so the details are as follows

March qtr 1875  Mary Burton aged 85 Hinckley 7A 48

Thanks Mike - the death information is very useful.  I have very little death information for Burtons in Hinckley so some of these may help me.

Thanks for the death details of mary Carole.  Thats a good start and suggests she was in deed born around 1790 - just need to find her christening record as i can go no further along the Morris family line!  Also how would i go about finding where she was buried?  Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem with the husband William Burton who census' record came from Nuneaton.  I have since been provided with a possible christening date of 1791 (census' indicate a birth of around 1786 so this could be him) at St Nicolas, Nuneaton. The only other line of enquiry could be the Witnesses - James Burton and Sarah Burton.  Can anyone also help me make a link to these so that i can be sure i have the right person.  As they are Burtons i would imagine that they are related and are either from Hinckley or again possibly Nuneaton.
