Born March 30. Baptised April 22 1821. Elizabeth Thornton D/O Robert & Mary(nee Davies) abode Hope Owen. Fathers Occ, Collier.

Yes I do have that record but thanks for contacting me. The information I don't have is the record of the marriage between Robert Thornton and Mary Davies. If by chance you spot them in your searches that would be really useful.

Gosh! That's amazing. It's just what I needed. Pity one of the family was not a witness; in 1791 there were two Robert Thornton's christened so I still can't establish which is 'my' Robert. I an still not a 100% sure that the Robert Thornton in the '41 census is the correct one.
