Many thanks for you very kind offer. I do not have any information of my Corbett's in 1841 in Stockport. The Corbett family (three generations) came to Stockport from Ireland in c.1819. I think that the information I already have of the Corbett's is only part of this family, in other words, I am missing a few ancestors from all the three generations. My ancestors did use the same christian names in each generation.

CORBETT'S ...Missing that I know of....
Edward Corbett born 1773 Ireland. Was living in Shaw Hall, Godley&Newton in 1845. Not found on the Hollingworth census, Ashton census, Godley & Newton/Mottram census. Could have been living in Stockport.
Joseph Corbett (son of the above), born Stockport 1819, same as above, not found listed anywhere in 1841.
James Corbett born c.1772 in Ireland. Known to be in the Masonic Lodge, Stockport from 1821-1839
James Corbett born in Ireland 1807. An overlooker of Stockport. Known to be in the Masonic Lodge, Stockport from 1833-1839.
Thomas Corbett born Ireland in 1813. A member of the Stockport Masonic Lodge from 1834-1840.
Thomas Corbett born in Ireland 1810. An Overlooker of Stockport. Known to be a member of the Masonic Lodge in Stockport from 1835-1836.
John Corbett born in Ireland 1799, Dresser of Stockport. Known to have been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Stockport from 1828-1848.
The trade directory of Stockport 1834(?) listed an Edward Corbett, Beer Seller. Probably related to my Corbett family.
As you can see Peter, my ancestors all have the same names! I would be interested in ANY Corbett you may find listed in Stockport in 1841. I really need to piece together this genealogy jigsaw puzzle. The information from baptisms tells me that my Corbett's did live in the Hillgate & Churchgate area of Stockport. Also, the burial of Ellen Corbett, infant, gives the address of Bamford St, Stockport in 1828.
I would be grateful of any Corbett information, hopefully then all these names will fall into their respective place on my family tree.
