Hello Dartmoor , the Stanton's i know come about through the union of a George Stanton from Horsley Woodhouse in Derbyshire and a Martha Hunt from Belper in Derbyshire , hope this is of some use to you , Edmund  ...........i know its a while since you`re original posting
