Looking for all Maher names.

The name is pronouced Marr rather than M'her and is often written phonetically.  Variants I've found include:

MAHER, MARR, MAR, MARS, MARE, MEAR, MAYER, MAYOR, MYERS, MEIR, MEAGHER, MEIER

I'm particularly interested in names from Ireland, Staffordshire, Essex and London.

I am interested in the name Myers.  Mine was in Co Antrim.  On searching the 1911 census I noticed a lot with that name were of the Hebrew faith.  Is Myers a Jewish name, do you know?

My maternal family name is Maher (pronounced Marr).  Take a look at any Tipperary web site and it will be full of them!!!

I am tracing MEIER family name , emigrated from Germany (Prussia) in 1858 to South Africa . Am looking for the Germaqn history/family .
