Hi i am looking for any info on the Maher family

MY Great Great Grandad Maher,,went to america,,then settled in Liverpool uk...

He had a son william maher,,,

Thats all i know..

In the Counties of Tipperary,  Waterford and Cork,  the name Maher (in it's various spellings),  is particularly common.   My Mother's maiden name was Maher and she came from Clogheeen,  in the South riding of Tipperary.  I am sure someone more expert than I will respond to your posting.  You will of course,  need some info. as to names,  places and dates.  Wish you well in your searching.
