I am looking for the maiden name of the mother of Bessie Jacksone who was born in North Berwick, I have her father as Walter Jacksone B.1630 and her mother as Elspith. But no maiden name.
I was hoping someone would be able to help me. Bessie married Alexander Comb.  I have all her details about her life after 1656, just not her parents details, I believe she had an sister called Elspith who was b1659.
