I wondered why on earth you'd said Helen, until I noticed that mck had corrected her first request

It could be that the surname is non-Scots or non-English. I see that it is Helen Mein so.............. a poss. Like you, I'd like more details from mck so that we might look for external evidence.

Looking at the ts at the end of Margaret and Robert , it does look like it ends in a t, so agree with Prue - it's Prat

There is a marriage between a Robert Sutherland and a Margaret Pratt, Aberdeen, 7 July 1866 on the IGI.

Hi Gadget got them in 1881 census I think he was a wool spinner in 1881 kids Jane Robert George James and Mary

Do you need them on any other censuses?

Have you got the 1881 census reference - location, ages, etc.?
