A little colour please for 2 sisters and little girl
« on: Wednesday 06 August 08 23:24 BST (UK) »
The 2 ladies in this photograph are sisters. The little girl is the daughter of the lady on the left.

Please could someone add a little colour. Mother and daughter both have very dark brown hair. Brown eyes for the little girl and blue for her mother.

Thank you
Angela

Are you certain that the two ladies are sisters, I would swear by the ages they look that they are mother and daughter.   :-\

There is about 13 years difference between the eldest in my family and me but that appears a much bigger difference.

Just thought I would share my opinion.  ;D

I can  see what you mean about the 2 ladies, but yes they are definately sisters, but with different fathers. The older sister was born in 1900, but sadly her father died 18 months later, just before a second child was born. Her mother remarried in 1910 and had 3 more children. The younger lady was the youngest of the family, born in 1915.

The younger lady always looked younger than her age. She was almost 45 when this was taken, so the older sister would have been almost 60.

They really don't look like sisters do they?

Harry, thank you so much for the cleanup. Much appreciated.

Angela

Hi,
A bit of a colour from me using Irenes restore (Sorry Harry I missed yours).  Afraid I chickened out of doing that skirt any different.
