   HI!  Ricky babe, yes, you are right you did find a lot of the MELLIN line for me,, reading back over my quiry, I missed out one G, it is my G/G/Grandparents, my grandmothers Mothers parents, Edward and CATHERINE DAVIES that I am trying to trace now, will have to try and find the marriages now, DAVIES in WALES, like looking for JONES, THOMAS, WILLIAMS,"NIGHTMARE" Marg,,,

Checked 1851, so looks like first dau was Margaret b Aberdare.  Possibly Catherine/Edward was from the Merthyr area, so married & firstborn there?

Possible marriages, aft reg before 1844 all with possible spouse Catherine.  All Glam, without mistranscriptions

  HI! Cas, Sorry, I don`t know anything at all about this couple,EDWARD and CATHERINE, I thought that Catherine might be from ABERDARE area with the first born there,Margarets age on their marriage cert is 20yrs, and they married in 1864 she was born 1844so you have confirmed all that, I would be quite happy to find the family after 1861 just to find the descendants and where they are  after that date, Wozzle found the 1861, (the address doesn`t ring any bells for the Neath area) which produced another 2siblings for Margaret, CATHERINE and ANN,went on BMD this after,  I give up on trying to find marriages for DAVIES, a nightmare, there are so many,,Marg,,

I think the most likely is late 1842 marriage in area for reg Aberdare.  Possibly birth would be late 1843 or early 1844, but know what you mean about lots of the Davies surname...

Good luck with it any way, only way you will know if by parish records for bapt maybe, aft registration, or certs

   Thanks Cas, will have to try and pop down to the access point in Neath and look through the st THOMAS`s church records,that might shed some light on the marraiges for these siblings of Margarets perhaps,thanks again Margaret,,

   Good find that WOZZLE, guess who is living at 33 LLantwit road,, JOHN MELLIN and Margaret   Mellin (DAVIES,)  ;)well pleased with that Margaret,,,
