Can anything be done to this ?

This photo is a bit of a mystery, it was found behind another family photo.
I have no idea who she is but would it be possible to clean her up?

Two versions.
POSTEES: If possible, PLEASE, scan your images at 300 - 600 dpi, for both ease of restoration and best results
RESTORERS: Feel free to change/improve/colour any restorations posted by myself.  Acknowledgment would be appreciated.
