                        Apart from the M.C. nothing else has come from searches looking for children to this couple, tried all spellings, pity.

 P.S. Though all the information you have otherwise found is spot on! thanks. (Death, Census, OPR Births(Henry)) They must have had some children?? 1875-1887. Edward's death was caused by Cage falling to bottom of No2 Pit, Dalzell after gearing broke down,he was 42years, along with on D.C. a John Short, 48years, Red Row, Craigneuk and perhaps others.

Edward Whelahan  29  father - James Whelhan  ag lab  decd  mother  catherine m.s. Trimbal? (not clear)
Mary henry  31  father - james Hendry   coal miner  mother - mary  m.s grindlay decd

def them and fits with above post.     Diddy.
Hi, Mother's surname on D.C. is now Turnbull but was Trimbal on copy of M.C. I purchased.
