SP has a birth as follows:

20/9/1840 Falkirk
Mary colquhoun Henry
father:  james henry
mother: mary Grindlay

is this the right family - Henry  / grindlay

might help search if we were sure  :)

Diddy
Those are the correct parents, not sure about Colquhoun, just gives initial on M.C. which I read as G (for Grindlay)as middle name.

Hi Diddymiller & JustJean,
                                     Great response so soon:
Mary married Thomas Murphy, Carronshore, Larbert, 28/08/1894, Mary 48 and Thomas 44, witnessed by Annie Webster & James Fraser and marriage recorded at Stenhousemuir. Thomas was an Iron Moulder and Mary's father James a Miner (deceased). Thank you for Wheelan or Whelehan information, set me on an interesting hunt now.
                                              Cheers,
                                                      Dunmac.

Thanks Diddymiller,
That's as far as Ive gotten with the Hendrys their OPR M, 17/11/1817 Falkirk. (Moses & Margaret) (479/0090 0221), it's the Wheelan bit you helped with that had me stumped, couldn't find in Falkirk. Yours and JustJean's help has been great.
              Cheers,
                          Dunmac.
