I'm trying to trace the ancestry of Elizabeth Popple, born 5 June 1842 at Pilsgate, Rutland.   According to the 1851 census, her parents were John Popple, born about 1797 in Wing, and Mary Potter, born about 1798 in Empingham.   In that census she had 2 brothers, Richard born about 1831 in Pilsgate and Edward born about 1836 also in Pilsgate.
