Have you got a birth cert of any of Morris Edwards and Catherine's children which give Catherine's surname as Williams?

It's just that there are two Morris Edwards marying in the Bala RD in 1900:

March q, vol 11b page 441 - Catherine Mary Williams on the same page

Sept q, vol 11b page 567 - a Catherine Davies on the same page

Hello and thanks for your interest.  Her name was definitely Catherine Mary Williams as I have her marriage certificate.  However, her father was named as John Lloyd Jones quarryman, its all a bit of a mystery, thanks again for looking regards jenny
