Dear Photographic Experts
Can anyone please clean up this rather rare photo of our local canal in its heyday
Sorry I have no idea what the plaque says above the tunnel but I do know it is the famous Butterley Tunnel on the Cromford Canal near Ripley / Ironville
Once restored I will use a copy on our village website

Scan at 300 plus for restores please. Scan at larger dpi for small photos. Don't forget to crop the scanner bed out! (Them's the white bits)
