Hi All
I came across this very impressive website today. I know that it has been referenced before as a site useful for local history. However I think that it is worth highlighting it again because it was six months ago that it was first referenced and we have a lot more members now. Also it is a source for genealogists since it contains lots of names that are searchable.
Definitely worth a look and if you are lucky you may find lots of detail about the local history of your places of interest and maybe find some of your ancestors as well.
