Do you mean Hoddesdon?

If so, see here:-

GENUKI is always a good place to look.

Otherwise, what is the county you think Hoddeston is in?

I couldn't see any online records in the reference that pjbuk007 gave.

Hoddesdon was a chapel of ease until 1844 when it was made into a parish.  You may possibly find that there were no CofE baptisms much earlier than this date although there do seem to be some records back to 1841.  Even if the ceremonies were conducted at Hoddesdon the records would probably have been in the parish register.  The town was divided between the parishes of Broxbourne and Great Amwell and so you will probably need to look at both of these.  I am not sure which of these owned the chapel of ease.

There was however a non-conformist church for which records from 1818 to 1837 have been deposited in the National Archives at Kew.

I was just giving the first location to look to see if there ARE any records, also to ascertain if it is Hoddesdon not Hoddeston - I usually find looking in GENUKI for parish record locations is a first step if you are limited to online resources (rather than consulting eg books).

Good luck!

What is igi

The IGI or International Genealogical Index is a collection of records, mainly baptisms and marriages.  Some have been extracted directly from verifiable parish records whilst others have been submitted by members of the LDS church.

Hoddesdon records available on the IGI.
