Andrew - Are you looking on Ancestry or Findmypast?  Findmypast doesn't have the option to type in the reference numbers.  Well if it does, I haven't found it yet.  On Ancestry it should be at the bottom of the page, below where it states father's name, mother's name, spouse's name etc.

Ricky - I forgot about the 1841 census!  It's a pretty useless census all round really, it doesn't give relationships so you have no idea whether the children are siblings or cousins and it doesn't give place of birth to help trace ancestors prior to the 1841 census. ;D ;D
