John Murly sailing to America

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me locate shipping records/passenger list for Poole. I am trying to find more about John Murly.
John Murly c1817 from Bridport and was a mariner, John left Dorset with his wife Catherine Froom for America. I would like to find shipping records to identify which boat he sailed on and when he went to America. John was married in 1852 and his first daughter was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1858. It is possible that John worked the passage for Catherine.
