London Royal Parks - staff records ?

Does anyone know if there are any archives showing staff working in the Royal Parks in the 1900 - 1940 period ?  My grandfather was allegedly the head gardener at Greenwich Park, according to family stories.  I've found evidence that he worked as a gardener, but can I prove the park connection ?
