I spotted a reference to Visitors Books in a couple of hotels in Donegal (see the board
for that county) so Googled for more. An article on  Telegraph.co.uk mentions a book which was in a hotel at Gaucín, Spain, which dates back to the 1870s. http://tinyurl.com/6ozctl
