BURWELL .. need a birth there

   Trying to track a birth/Bp of George Howard born c1810ish
   Burwell. Any info of Howards in the time frame would be good also Some kind soul going to RO anytime?
   Years are missing on the films from LDS Library

The baptism index shows that parents George and Sarah baptised four children in 1809:

Mary no age given
Phoebe aged 2
Sarah aged 5
George aged 7

Hi,
Don't know if you have George and Sarah's marriage,
George Howard  bac  married Sarah Davey (signed her name Davy) sp Both of the parish. 10 July 1797 .
Wits William Faben and Robert Richardson.
They also had a daughter Sarah bap 31 mar 1799.

Hi Eds,

I have not read all of your 'hunt' so am not up to speed but have you ruled George Howard born c. 1802 Burwell out?  I think he is probably the George Howard married there in 1831, I have the Cambs marriage index which does not give bride but I could easily look for a Rachel marrying in Burwell in 1831 if you would like it, I see that they are in Burwell in the 1841.

The Litlington Howards are probably connected to me albeit distantly.

The marriage entry in Burwell 1831 reads
George Howard jun widr (Harwood has been crossed out) marr Rachel Gathercole Wid botp
5 Sept 1831. Wits Henry Howard and Anne Mann.

There is an earlier marriage in 1821 for George Howard bac marr Sarah Ready sp botp 27 Apr 1821 Burwell.
Wits. Richard Harvey and Robert Richardson.
