All Saints Trefonen Church records#Completed#

I am trying to find my Gt Grandfather birth certificate. I have sent for quite a few but they have never been the correct one. He was baptised at All saints 4 May 1845. His parents were Thomas 1793 Llanarmon and Mary jones 1816 Treflach. He living in Treflach in 1851 according to the census. I have traced all his other documentation marriage children etc. I had no problems with his brother William's birth certificate. Pete at Shropshire FHS suggested I try here.Can anyone help with checking the entry in the church records. Recorded Parents names

Trefonen is in Shropshire, although close to the border  - not sure how you've been directed to Denbighshire

There is only a Hannah Jones Baptised in 1842 showing as a child of Thomas and Mary Jones in the extracted PRs for Trefonen on the IGI.

I'm at a loss where to go next. As I said it was suggested I try here. George Watkin(s) my Gt grandfather's birth certificate is proving elusive to find. I have access to Ancestry and there are 3 of us trying in vain to find his BC. A cousin in Texas has searched the LDS records in Dallas. the odd thing is we can't find the marriage of his parents either. That is why I wanted to see the actual transcripts from the church records.

Did your cousin get the LDS film of Trefonen? 

Where did you find the baptism record?

Not all births were registered that early on but how wide a search have you done - he could have been born earlier or registered much later.

I'll have a look at what I've got but not sure that they go that far.

If that's the case, the LDS film would show it as well - giving the full register entry.
