Hi Rita

It's usual to post when you have a question rather than give a full account but I don't think that there are any strict rules  :)

Why not report back when you find something on Thomas and Mary.

Take care

Goodmorning Gadget :) :)

I think we are going to call it a day looking for their marriage. Cannot think of anywhere else to look, but I just wanted to thank you to you and William for your efforts.

Take care

Rita :D :D

Dear Gadget, :D
Despite all of our efforts we cannot find anything at all, I even asked a professional researcher to help..I thought I'd better close this record. Thanks for all your help. Take care
Rita

Gadget, :)

Thought I'd let you know that at long last we have found the marriage of Thomas Watkin and Mary Jones. They were married at Morton Chapel 7 April 1843. It was found at Familysearch Beta site. Geoff in Texas sent for the record and he found it in the Marriage Banns at St Oswald's in Oswestry. The 7th was the third reading of the banns.
Again thanks for your help.
Best Wishes
