Munched up Moodys-Please help!

Could someone please help restore the Moody couple. I cannot get the eye right.

Hi, you need to scan at 300dpi and NOT compress the photo.  I can see you have scanned the photo at 600dpi but by compressing (not using maximum quality) you have lost the detail - in fact its worse when its blown up as it goes all blocky

You can post up to 500kb on this board, this photo is only 23kb

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

as  Jenny has said  (hi Jenny, good to see you back) a better scan will get you better results.

Please scan all photographs at 300-600 dpi.
Please feel free to colour any restores posted by me. An acknowledgement would be much appreciated.

Okay-thanks for the attempts as much appreciated. I shall go back to the drawing board and resubmit. For an over 70 yr old I am not doing too bad as I can do most repairs unless , like this one, there is very extensive damage Thanks again to all of you wonderful people, who I like to emulate in doing favours for others.
