Hi Vicky dry your eyes as they say in Derry. Great match but it was our turn after 61 years. I am going through the Elliott geneology researched by Sr. Ursala. I need to update it to include the current families. Will photo copy for all of you when I get a minute and a decent photo copier. Sorry about th tree. I would cut his hand off. Love trees. Mary

Hi everyone. My name is Colm MacNiallais. I am Mary's grandson (and, therefore, Dennis' great-grandson). I am currently living in Dublin (studying Archaeology and Greek and Roman Civilization at UCD) but try to visit Derry as often as possible. I have had several discussions with Grandma about the family tree that she has and have copies of them myself.

Vicky, grandma tells me that you are a history teacher. History and the Classics has been a passion of mine since I was 7 years old. You should add me on Facebook. Just search my name above and my profile picture is of myself in military uniform (from my days in the US Army JROTC).

Colm

hi colm- good to hear from you. I am the grandaughter of one of Bill, the brother of dennis. I am a law teacher, not a history teacher, although I did history A level a long time ago! I will look for you on facebook, the internet at home is down at the moment- so will look when I have a chance. Have a good weekend!

Aw, thank you Mary, you're very kind!  I would be really grateful to get the information.  Do you postal or email address?  Or I could collect it from you somewhere?

Thanks a million

Michaela

Hi all I have being reading through some research by our second cousin Sister Ursala Mc Hugh who currently resides in the Conveny of Mercy Strabane. I have some onfo on a Bridget Elliott b 1878 d 1944 but she was married to Tom Cassidy. There is also mention among the papers i have of the Elliott cottage and Forge at Warbleshinney, still standing, which mentions a Ned Logue whose cottage is still there in the background. Will try to find out more Mary
