Marriage Ontario lookup please - RICKETTS

I hope someone will be able to help me with a marriage lookup for Albert Edward Ricketts.

He has shown up in the index - Ontario, Canada Marriages 1857-1924 but I am unable to view any other details as I do not subscribe to this part of Ancestry.

He was born 1865 Wilsford, Wiltshire.  Parents were Richard and Hannah Ricketts.

The marriage registration appears to say Twig but there is a birth registration for a son, John Albert Ricketts that appears to say Tivey. I'll PM the images to you.

Jacquie, thankyou.........I had my fingers crossed that it would be him.

I had been looking all over Australia for him.  He arrived in 1883 with his cousin (my great grandfather), then disappeared.

At least now I know what happened to him, thanks again.

No sign of them on the 1901, which would have year of imm. to Canada

Never expected to find them back in Canada in 1911 as I had found them living in London in 1901.  Albert had a name change.

I wonder where the other two children were, maybe they were back in England.  Sadly, I have found that John Albert and Arthur Joseph died in the First World War. Arthur is buried in Belgium and John in Baghdad.

No wonder I couldn't find them in 1901!!!! I looked thouroughlt twice and thought they must have been missed...
Albert was a farm "manager" so in a supervising capacity, he may have been called further afield...
But this wouldn't explain leaving little ones behind temporarily, though, would it...and he seems to have
taken in an aunt & nephew ( born P.E.I)....so this sounds to be a permanent residence

Sadly, I have found that John Albert and Arthur Joseph died in the First World War.
Arthur is buried in Belgium and John in Baghdad.

Nevermind....I looked about in Queens and found Arthur...he was transcribed as a daughter  (Arthure)

It looks like the family made a few trips back and forth to Canada over the years but then most likely settled back in England..........as far as I know for now anyway.

In 1915/1917 Albert and Charlotte were living in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire.

I have no idea who the aunt and nephew are as the name Leitch is unknown to me.
