Thanks to all who have replied and for the accurate information, I'm not sure it has helped though as I'm finding it increasingly difficult to make the connection (my fault and problem entirely).
Algy,

I know this is an old post now but I have come across a memorial inscription for a John and Patience Lisle.  This is taken from a volume of inscriptions at Newcastle City Library.
I am sorry to say the memorial is highly likely to no longer exist.  The volume also records that many of the memorials have since been cleared and those were either used as paving stones at Brierdene or put in the bottom of Marden Quarry.  Why this happened I wouldn't have a clue.
However, I thought I would just let you know that a memorial once did exist if this might be of interest.

Also for anyone interested in old Cullercoats families I would really recommend a book which came out last year called 'Throw out the lifeline' by George Frampton.

River Tyne Lass, thank you for posting this information I wasn't aware that there had ben any statues of any of the Lisle family, I shall certainly pass it on to all family members that i am aware of. Algy.
