Lovely to hear from you, I won't tell my husband that I spent the whole day searching shipping lists for nothin' & that I am back to square 1 ;) Ok from what you have found I am going to work along the lines that Williamina left circ 1871-1878 yeh! only 7 years of ships to pound through!  I still need to to positively substantiate that I have the correct family. Something niggles me about her mother being stated as "Annie". So I will still do some searching for an Annie! & a William who had a Williamina.
This has helped me heaps in the meantime.
thankyou for your effort, I wish I had access to the sources from over here as easily as you do.

do you have any info in reference as to what William Macdonalds occupation may have been?

I have established that William McDonald was a "Game Keeper"  :-* if anyone can search 1861 census, Inverness, for household William, wife Annie daug. Williamina age 5 6 or 7 please would appreciate it.
