GROSE Family

Does anyone have a connection with John Grose & his wife Mary Marshall? They were married at Lanivet in 1807.  They had two sons, William Marshall and John Grose.

Hi Judy

Thank you for all the infomation you have sent.  It must have taken ages to type it all up? I'm not actually related to the Grose family but was asked to do a little digging by a friend/neighbour who cannot get to her local library without great difficulty.

She wanted me to concentrate all my efforts on her immediate ancestors and didn't really convey much interest in the siblings of her various ancestors, which is a shame as they seemed quite interesting families.

Thanks once again

Jayson

Try my website below, there are a number of John Grose's that I do not know much about.  Maybe one of them is yours?  Always looking to improve the information, so any help would be appreciated.

I am related to the Bodmin Groses through Nicholas Grose who lived in Jamaica for many years. He is one of my fourth great-grandfathers.
