You guys are so much more clever than us mortals, thanks again this it is great. I can even shrink that now and make it into the size for a locket for my daughter who is amazed by the photo's and the family history, she is only 7.

This a difficult one, I found isolating the blue channel gave a better starting point, but so much of the faces is missing.

I keep getting a result then dumping it, time will tell.

Hi Mike, I went sepia on Vista and then grey from there...well the latest one.
No problen getting something to work on, it's what I do with it after 
What a good job the 'important' lady has pretty much all of her face.
Good practice though, if nothing else.
