My Taid is also Jones (b1903/4 no address no good for census)and the Llanelian yn Rhos tracing is great as the Denbighshire(North Ward-South Ward)/Caernarvonshire Boundaries kept moving and Gwynned/Clwyd/Conwy. My Nain/Taid on my Mothers leg is all Owen and Williams great fun.Thanks once again for all your efforts

Hi guys i checked out those census today and i think the 1871 one looks favorite for checking ages/occupations deceased 10 yrs later etc, i think possibly when she has told the enumerator where she was born "Llawr y Betws" he has possibly said where? and she has replied "Corwen" because i would have thought Carrog would have gone down as such,possible? I will have to get to sort the parish records for confirmation at some stage.Thanks for the efforts you put in for me.Like i said before i had spent hours on Ancestry on this but fresh eyes always help.I am traveling to Colwyn Bay next week so i will try and get a look at the 1891 census in the library to find where they were.
