Look up request Nancy STONE & Coralie STONE

Hello

I wonder if any one can help me please. I apologise if this is not in the correct formant/forum but I have never had to research anyone living in Australia. In approximately 1918 Nancy Stone b: 1897c and Coralie Stone b: 1900c emigrated to Australia. Nancy was born in Swindon, Wiltshire, England and Coralie was born in Leamington, Warwickshire, England. I just do not know where to start looking for them in Australia. I don't know to which state they were headed or when. Any help would be greatly appreciated please!

Hi Jenn

Thank you for responding so quickly. All we know is that it was about 1918 but we cannot be exact with the date. I know there is a record of a Nancy Stone emigrating to Australia in the early 1920's but I am not sure if it is the same person. Their parents' names are George E Stone b: c1865 at Berkshire and Ada Stone b: c1865 at Ashford, Kent.

by  their  birth details  it appears  no  middle  names.

It is  is possible that either or both girls may have married  before they left England

I found the following:-

Cora Stone married Roy Edward Hollis March Q 1920 3a 460 Willesdon Middlesex.

Roy's WW1 service records are online.

There is a letter from Coralie requesting her husbands discharge to take place in England.  It is on LetterHead
"Adele Stone George Stone London Rd Stroud - Artists & Photographers."  Dated March 1920.
