woow
thanks for all these facts guys

John is a very common name in the aianos (every family seems to have one somewhere) and so is Charles (ive got 6 of those) but i dont think there are very many Edwards. so i need to look very carefully at all these facts to make sure that every one fits where they should. incidently Caroline seems to be quite common for them too. and i cant tell you how many Mary anns there are
 :)
i think its amazing that all this came from one person.
whod have thought it would get so complicated.

another thing id like to add.

ive lost count now of how many times this surname has been mistpelt.
its really impossible. id like to thank all you guys and gals for helping me
i only get a couple of hours on the computer in the morning so it would have been really hard for me the fact that you have to second guess what on earth they could have used as spellings this time each time. its ridiculous

thanks everyone. i must be nearly done with this family now.

next step the bodymeads. now i wonder how many times you can mispell that.,

Ha Ha

Thanks for spotting the "visitors" Ian.  I must have done that one too quickly.  Mea culpa!

Hello Kas,

Well I can't help with the person but I can help witha little topography, you thought Bromley was in Kent ? yep, there is a Bromley in Kent, There is also a Bromley by Bow ( complete with Underground station ) in East London, tje Bow is a bit of a giveaway, there is also a Great Bromley  up towards Harwich, and right next to it is, wait for it, Little Bromley.
I think when researching family history, next to accurate names comes accurate dates, and then accurate place names........as I've learnt to my cost, going down blind alleys.

anyway,
Good hunting, and fortunately you're not looking for a common name like Smith, Green or Brown.
